SWMM5 Conversion - Nodes (SWMM)

Information from the following sections of the SWMM5 text file are imported to objects in the Nodes grid in an InfoWorks ICM SWMM network: 

[STORAGE]

The following fields in the [STORAGE] section are imported to an InfoWorks ICM SWMM Node network object.

[DIVIDERS]

The [DIVIDERS] section is imported to an InfoWorks ICM SWMM Node network object. Divider type of nodes are not used in InfoWorks ICM, therefore these are set as Junction nodes on import.

[INFLOWS]

The [INFLOWS] section is imported to a SWMM Node network object InfoWorks ICM. Which fields they are imported to depends whether or not Pollut is set to FLOW.

Any time series data is imported to a SWMM Pollutograph object or an Inflow event.

Imported if Pollut is not FLOW.

SWMM5 Base is imported to the Baseline column in the ICM Pollutant inflow grid, Pat is imported to the Baseline pattern column, Pollut to the Pollutant column, Sfactor to the Scaling column, and Mfactor to the Mass units factor column.

Type SWMM Pollutograph Type Determines if time series is imported to a pollutograph or an event. If Type is set in the SWMM5 file, the setting is imported to the Type field in a SWMM Pollutograph's profile properties.
Tseries SWMM Pollutograph Profile When importing to a SWMM pollutograph event.
Inflow Profile When importing to an Inflow event.

 

[DWF]

The [DWF] section is imported to a SWMM Node network object in InfoWorks ICM. Which fields they are imported to depends whether or not Type is set to FLOW.
